Our warranty & return policies are very straight forward and as follows:
60-Day Hassle Free Returns
We allow you to return your cameras hassle free for whatever reason for 60-days. Warranty / return period starts from the order date.
Most of our Hikvision / IPCT products have a 3-year warranty unless otherwise specified. This includes any defective or malfunctioning aspect of the product that has incurred during normal use, not caused by misuse.
What’s not covered
- Power surges / faulty power
- “Acts of God” – Including damage from severe weather
- Accidental damage by customer / theft / misuse
- Rusted or corroded power connectors, due to crimps
- Intentional damage to product, such as cutting wires, drilling holes, etc.
Warranty does not cover: Abnormal wear, abrasion, misuse, alteration, abuse, or taking apart of the product, Handling, storage, installation, fluctuations, severe weather, power outages or any electrical incidents or any damage caused by the unintended use of the product.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidents, prolonged UV exposure, or the natural breakdown of certain materials over long periods of time. Amcrest will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits.
All returns must meet our return requirements. Please note that if your return does not meet the required return criteria, a replacement may incur additional charges.
All returns must be approved by the RMA department. Failure to return a product without a return authorization (RA) can result in lost packages. We are not liable for your item if it was shipped back to our warehouse without authorization from the RMA department.
We are also not liable for the return / replacement of items not listed on the packing slip provided by the RMA department.
Confirmation from a technician is required on defective items in order to proceed with a replacement unit.
- EmpireTech requires original packaging and the camera to be in like-new condition. If the original packaging is not supplied, there is a $50 fee.
In order to be eligible for a refund, the order must meet the following requirements
Order must be within 30 days of the original purchase date.
No longer needed or wanted items are subject to a 10% restocking fee. We do not cover shipping expenses for items that are not defective or if the item was returned due to buyer’s remorse. An item is not eligible for return after 30 days. The restocking fee is ultimately deducted from the refund amount.
Restocking fees will be waved if the product is defective.
Blue Iris is sold on a serial key basis. You are paying for a unique serial key to use to activate the software. Once you activate the software, you are entitled to 1 year of version updates as well as basic support.
Serial keys are non-refundable, all sales are final.
All non-defective returns are subject to a $5 fee.
